DIY water bottle labels are an enhancement for any celebration and we had much to celebrate last week. Two of our foster sons graduated from high school, another celebrated his 8th birthday, and another was baptized! We had a small gathering to celebrate these young men and their accomplishments. These cute diy water bottle labels were created for the party.
DIY Water Bottle Labels
Here’s How I Did It
I started by removing the labels from my water bottles. Then I began cutting decorative paper into strips that were 8 1/2″ X 1 1/2″. I used StazOn Jet Black ink to stamp a scripture on each strip. Next I cut 9 1/2″ strips of 2″ wide packing tape. The scripture paper was laid face down onto the sticky side of the packing tape and then adhered to a water bottle.
I made 36 of these in a relatively short amount of time. It is a nice touch that you can add to all kinds of parties, showers, holiday gatherings, etc. I did refrigerate these, but did not stick them directly into ice in a cooler. The condensation from being refrigerated did not bother the paper or the stamped image.
I hope you are preparing to celebrate something special soon, and that you’ll be able to use these instructions to create your own diy water bottle labels. If you do, please let us know what you created them for and how they turned out!
