I love Fun Fold cards, but sometimes they are complicated to figure out. Today’s card is easy and quick. It is also a great fun fold to show off coordinating papers.
To create this card start with a Pool Party Cardstock base that measures 5-1/2″ X 8-1/2″. Score this base on the long side at 1-1/4″ and at 4-1/4″. Fold in half (on the 4-1/4″ score line) and then fold the other score line up. Adhere this flap to the card front.
To decorate the card you will need some coordinating pieces of paper. We used the Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper for this colorful card. The top piece measures 1-5/8″ X 5-1/4″. The lower pieces each measure 1″ X 5-1/4″. When choosing your papers, be sure to choose a card base that will allow the Designer Series Papers to really ‘pop’ on the card. Don’t choose a color that blends in too much or you will miss the striped effect of the fun fold.
Here’s a view of the card when opened. That inside piece of neutral cardstock measures 2-1/2″ X 5-1/4″. It is perfect for stamping a sentiment and then signing your card.
