We are saying goodbye to the Wild & Sweet stamp set this month. These critters have been so versatile for me. I have used them for baby themes and for masculine. (Actually, I am not sure that a koala can be masculine???) The set retires this month, so I wanted to create one more project from it before we let it go.
These cards were created by accident. I was not trying to make a ‘sepia’ set of cards, but I inked with the wrong ink pad opened on my desk and this happened. Even cardmaking can be an adventure.
This first one is the card featured in out weekly email this week, but once I saw how it turned out I had to make him some friends.
Then, of course, I needed a holder for my set of cards. I grabbed a piece of 12 X 12 paper and created this. It is super fast and easy. I will do a video later today on Facebook so you can see how it is made. I used up some retired Saleabration paper for the holder and attached a piece of retired faux suede ribbon to tie it shut.
Here is a view of it opened…
And finally, here is a view of the entire set. I LOVE how it turned out!
The Wild & Sweet stamp set is only available a few more days. Grab it before it’s gone!
