Last week we got together for our new Holiday Catalog Kick Off class. It was so fun, after all these months, to get together with my stamping friends! We used items from the new Stampin’ Up mini catalog to create 3 beautiful projects. Hope these inspire you!
Project 1
How cute is this decorated Mini Coffee Carrier?! Isn’t this the perfect fall gift? We used the new Plaid Tidings Designer Series paper and coordinating cardstock in Rich Razzleberry, Bumblebee, Crumb Cake and Whisper White. The Warm Hugs bundle made decorating the Mini Coffee Cup and creating the cute tag easy. I baked some king sized pumpkin muffins and put them in a cellophane bag. I tied it up nicely with some Cinnamon Cider ribbon.
Project 2
Our second project uses the Wishes & Wonder bundle from the new catalog. Don’t you just LOVE that red sleigh! We used Versamark ink and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. We colored it with a Real Red Stampin’ Write Marker. The Mossy Meadow Diagonal ribbon is found on page 9 of the mini catalog. And of course, I created the gorgeous background with the Buffalo Check background stamp.
Project 3
This sparkly card was our final project. The sentiment is from the For Unto Us stamp set and we paired it with the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder. You cannot tell just how beautiful that sparkly background is in this photograph. This layer started as a simple piece of Night of Navy cardstock. I put a small amount of Frost White Shimmer Paint into a Stampin’ Spritzer and then filled it with rubbing alcohol. Once mixed well, without really shaking, I spritzed the cardstock. It is important that you hold the spritzer a good distance from your paper to get a nicely splattered affect over the entire layer. You might want to practice on a scrap piece first. 🙂
These holiday catalog kick off projects all turned out lovely. And it’s no wonder, this is an impressive catalog. There are many wonderful stamp sets and bundles!
