If you had an hour to spare today, what would you do? Sundays are one of my favorite days, even though they start really early! As a member of our worship band at church, I have to leave my house at 6:30 a.m. for practice. I am not complaining, I LOVE it! (Well, not the early alarm, but playing in the band.)
Therefore, on a typical Sunday, any spare hour that I have is devoted to my Sunday nap. I know, how exciting, right?! My nap is known to my family as my “Sunday appointment.” It happens most weeks at 2:00 p.m. I take the “day of rest” commandment pretty seriously. 🙂
So, aside from my nap, if I had another spare hour, I would like to spend it doing a Bible Journal entry for the sermon that I heard that morning. I don’t do nearly enough Bible journaling. My sister does this at least weekly with a group from her church. They get together on Wednesday evening and journal something from their sermon the previous Sunday. My journaling experience is much more sporadic.
