This is my 5th day in the 100 Days of Less Hustle, More Jesus devotional. I am paper crafting my way through this devotional book. Today’s lesson was about the incredible works of God in nature. The author talked about how she marvels at how nature just does what it was created to do. The challenge for the day, is to do what God created me to do. He has designed me in a very specific way with unique gifts and abilities. What a great day to use my stamping skills to illustrate today’s point. Here’s a pic of my page.
Less Hustle, More Jesus
Today was also a day with my hubby. This is his day off, and with the kids back in school, we have time to hang out together. We went to the store to buy food for this cutie…
and ended up with these additional 6 cuties.
He is a sucker for Chick Days at our local farm store! Now I get to watch the miracle of these babies growing and maturing into egg-cellent layers for us. (Ha!) We have lots of opportunities to see God’s handiwork everyday, but I think sometimes we miss out on the biggest miracle right in front of us. The way God matures us and uses us to accomplish His plan is absolutely incredible. So, for today, I am reflecting on His plan for my life and how well I am cooperating with it. Am I using all that He has gifted me with to my fullest ability? Where can I improve? And am I serving in my own strength or relying on Him?
If you’re interested in joining me on this crafting/devotional journey, the book is a devotional journal called 100 Days of Less Hustle, More Jesus by Shanna Noel. Of course, you don’t have to stamp or draw in your book. You can choose to simply journal your 100 days.
