I love the pink plaid tidings papers in the Plaid Tidings 6 X 6 paper pack from the current mini catalog. It reminds me of a comfortable flannel shirt and cool autumn days. So when I was challenged to create a non-traditional colored Christmas card, I knew what paper I wanted to use. I have had this card in my head for a month and I finally created it today.
Pink Plaid Tidings
So many things about this card make me happy. First, the colors! I love using pink for Christmas and the bright colors in this plaid print make this card so fun. Second, those curvy dies! The Curvy Die Bundle is available to purchase on Tuesday, November 3! It provided the perfect touch for this whimsical little card. And finally, that snowman! The Snowman Builder Punch makes him easy to put together and to customize. It came together just as I had envisioned it…and I love it!
Check back tomorrow and I will share more details and inspiration from the Curvy Dies Bundle that is available on November 3rd. In the meantime, perhaps you would like to take the challenge that inspired me to create today’s card? Go create a Christmas card without using any traditional Christmas colors. Be sure to show me what you create so I can be inspired by your work too!
You might also like to join me in my November Created to Create Challenge. This is my birth month, and I have determined in 2020 to create something pretty EVERY day in November. We have a wedding this month, so this is truly going to be a challenge, but I am going to complete as many days as possible. I would love for you to join me! Maybe I will use more of this Pink Plaid Tidings paper. 🙂
