Quick and easy Valentine ideas are just what we need with only a couple of days left to prepare. The 2 ideas I have chosen for today are simple to put together and don’t require a lot of supplies. These would be great to take to your coworkers, send to teachers or even give to your hubby (which is where the peanut butter cups are going).
Let’s take a look at the first project….
Sour Cream Container
These are easy to make and you can whip out a lot in a short time. To create this container you simply take a square of Designer Series Paper and glue it in a tube shape. Then glue the ends of the tube closed, pinching one end closed from front to back and the other end closed from side to side. Be sure to add your treat inside before sealing it! My example was made with a 4 X 4 square. I put a couple of miniature chocolate bars inside. You can use larger or smaller squares and make this in whatever size you need to hold your goodie. I embellished my quick and easy Valentine with a stamped greeting and some rhinestones. It is headed to Indiana to my daughter. 🙂
Another quick and easy Valentine idea is to grab some cellophane bags, fill them with a treat and make a simple topper for the bag. Here’s my sample…
Cello Bag with Topper
To add a greeting I simply punched a heart and hand lettered a sentiment. This topper is stapled closed, but I used the punched heart to hide my staple. My husband loves this candy and so this will go to him on Friday.
These are just a couple of quick and easy Valentine ideas. If you have some other suggestions please share them in a comment. Please share this information on Facebook or Twitter if you think your friends might also want some tips for fast treats.
