You might be a little behind if you are spring cleaning in August. Better late than never though, right? I am not so sure about that, but I am determined to reduce some clutter in my life! Mostly I have been throwing stuff out. Why do I keep every little scrap of cute paper?! There were a few things that I kept, but only long enough to create something out of it. If it was on my desk that night I threw it away. (Exercising tough love.) So this week I am sharing projects that resulted from this clean out. Maybe this will inspire you to sort through your paper stash also.
I got some Brusho Colours back in the spring and played with them one day recently. I used quite a bit of water on the page I was playing with and had to set it aside to dry. Well, there it sat and so when I got to that page I decided to punch out some items and make a couple of cards from it. I am pretty pleased with the way they turned out.
The first card used the Daisy Punch for that cute flower. I paired it with some Designer Series Paper to create a cute quick card. The next card used the Cat Punch with my Brusho water colored paper. This one is my favorite! I am a dog person at heart, but you gotta love that cute kitty!
Obviously I have a lot more experimenting to do with these Brusho Colours, but they were fun and easy to use. (I am thinking I will make a pink cat next!) . These cards got me a little closer to reducing the clutter in my studio and I have some birthday cards for my stash—win, win!
I will continue sharing cards made from my “spring cleaning” this week, so check back tomorrow to see what else I found! If you want to get one of these cute punches for yourself, let me know and I will help you with an order!
