Did you know that today was Star Wars Day? Or did you even know that there was such a thing? In case you didn’t, I will explain. It is May 4th….or May the fourth…be with you….get it? I began my Star Wars marathon yesterday because I knew I had to work today. Going home tonight to watch the Return of the Jedi. Yay!
Some people are lucky enough to have a birthday on Star Wars Day. I wish I was one of those cool kids, but mine is in November. Anyway, I had fun creating a Star Wars birthday card for my friend and fellow stamper who IS cool enough to have been born on May the Fourth.
Star Wars Day Birthday Card
And the inside….
I toyed with the idea of putting “Happy Birthday you rebel scum!” on the front, but my hubby thought it sounded too harsh. 😉 My friend is a Star Wars fan and I think she would have appreciated the humor, but the way it turned out was nice too.
I cut Darth Vader from vinyl using my Silhouette and adhered it to cardstock. LOVE how it turned out. I hope you plan to celebrate this holiday too. Perhaps you would like to create your own Star Wars character from paper. You can find all kinds of punch art ideas for Star Wars on Pinterest. Please share any Star Wars Day projects that you make with me. I love to see how creative you all can be!
