Last week we had our Valentine Class 2021. I am so in love with the cute cards that we made! You still have time to make some Valentine cards for your loved ones. I hope the projects we share will inspire you.
In our first card we kept it pretty traditional. This was the perfect use for this black and white striped Designer Series Paper that I needed to use up. The Heart Punch Pack made this an easy card to put together. The Real Red ribbon and those fabulous Matte Black Dots finish it off beautifully. Tiny details like this really make a card look polished, and for the amount you receive compared to what you pay, they are an excellent value.
Valentine Class 2021 Projects
Our second card features stamps from the January 2021 Paper Pumpkin. I don’t usually use Paper Pumpkin products in our regular classes, but this little snail was too cute and I had to use him. We used blends to color the snail. Also, though you cannot tell from the picture, we embellished him with a Wink of Stella glitter pen. I like that this card could definitely be used for Valentine’s day, but it could also be used for a birthday, get well or just to say hi.
Our final card uses the Sweet Ice Cream stamp set. This fun card is simply paper and ink. The popsicle did require 2 step stamping, but nothing complicated. I love the bright colors in this card. Like our previous card, it could be used for a birthday or thank you as well as Valentine’s day.
As much as I loved the projects for this class, my favorite part of the evening was getting to stamp with my friends…and family because my sister was in town for this class :). Our classes are about more than just creating cute projects. We always have a good time when we stamp and we enjoy getting together. If it has been a while since you stamped with us, or if you have never stamped with us, consider joining us next time. I know you will not be disappointed.
