Epic Celebrations in Pink? What could be better?! Today we are sharing our next project using the Epic Celebrations stamp set from Stampin’ Up’s Sale-A-Bration catalog. This is such a fun set. Yesterday, we used the fun guitar image, but today’s project is all about the shoes! This card, like the one yesterday, was inspired by the catalog samples. Here’s a look at our pink card…
After stamping these shoes with black ink on my Powder Pink paper, I used my Watercolor Pencils to color them pink and white. Aren’t they cute?! Love how they turned out. The sentiment is so fitting for these awesome shoes. I also added a little sparkle with silver metallic thread. This card will surely make someone smile when I pass it on.
Now, here are a couple things I want you to keep in mind from this project…
- First, be sure to use your catalogs for inspiration! I don’t know if I would have come up with those pink shoes on my own or not. But I didn’t have to! Stampin’ Up! catalogs are FILLED with wonderful project ideas. Be sure to try them.
- Second, the Watercolor Pencils look so good on the colored cardstock! Don’t limit your coloring to Whisper White or Very Vanilla paper.
