This is day 3 of Epic Celebrations stamp set! If you want to take a look at the images included in this set, check out this post. Today we have used repeated stamped images like our shoes yesterday, except with the guitar image. This card was surprisingly easy to do. Using Watercolor Pencils I quickly added color to the guitars. I like that the images were intentionally NOT colored perfectly, just quickly. It adds a sort of hand drawn feel to the card.
The Tailored Tag Punch (new in the Occasions Catalog) nicely frames the stamped sentiment and adds a wonderful masculine touch. Because of the straight lines, it is easy to to add a larger colored layer, even without a larger punch. A black marker and a ruler helped me add the “pin stripe” detail to the punched sentiment. This turned out exactly as I had hoped it would. How often does that happen? 😉 Like yesterday’s card, I added a little bling with some metallic thread, but in copper this time. It is shiny, but doesn’t look out of place on the masculine card.
