Yesterday was Dress Your Pet Day. (What, you didn’t know that?) Well, I have a few pets that I could have clothed, but currently we are working hard to redo an old entertainment center into a cage for my Brazilian Short Tailed Opossum. Her name is Kim Possumible, because I am a huge Kim Possible fan. I call her KP for short.
I have been working all week to prepare fleece for cage liners. Do you know how many times you have to wash fleece to undo it’s water repellency? Three to five times! Ugh. I have sewn custom liners for both levels of her cage and sewn her a cute new fleece house. Here’s a pic…
I love that I can use my stamping products for so many different things. The panels for my little house were cut using my Big Shot and a retired scalloped square die. She seems to appreciate her new little hidey house. When we get her new cage complete (hopefully tomorrow!) I will share a pic on our facebook page so you can see how it turns out.
Here’s some more pics, just for the cuteness factor 🙂
Awesome Possum
I challenge you to think of using your stamping supplies in different ways. Think outside the box. Who knows what problems our craft items can solve?! Please share in the comments if you have an idea for a new way to use your supplies. We can all learn from each other. 🙂
