A bunny from Framelits….how clever is that?! I totally swiped this idea from another crafter because it is just too cute. I had planned to have Easter crafts for you every day this week, but yesterday got away from me. Five kids home for Spring Break and one car in the shop has pretty much destroyed my routine for the week. Our college senior comes home later in the week and is bringing a friend with him. It will be crazy, but I love it and can’t wait to see him!
Anyway, back to the bunny. I saw where someone had put together some framelits to make a cute little rabbit and I wanted to mimic it, but I did not have the framelits they used. I looked through my framelit collection to see if I had anything that might resemble a bunny ear. Here’s how mine turned out…
Can you tell what I used for that cute little bunny’s ears? The person that I got the idea from had used a flower framelit, but I didn’t have a flower that would work. Here are the ingredients that I used to create this cute little fella.
Circles Collection Framelits (130911) and the Handpicked Framelits (137361). The tiny punch I used for the tail is a retired item. You could easily use a small circle punch, I just wanted it to look “fluffy.”
I am just in love with this cute bunny from framelits! Won’t he look so sweet on a baby card with pastel blue or pink Designer Series Paper behind him? This has also challenged me to rethink my framelits. What other animals or people or things can I create this way? I hope it has got you to thinking too.
