Today is International Working Women’s Day.  I am not really sure how to take that name.  Don’t all women work at something?  I graduated from Physical Therapy school just months before I got married.  I worked full time in that field for nearly 10 years.  Eventually I was promoted to a full time mom and later to a homeschooling mom.  Currently I work part time outside the home, run a home based business and am a foster mom to 5 boys.   By far, I have enjoyed my time working at home more than I did working outside the home.  But not because it was easier or any less work, just a different focus.

So my tribute today is for all women, whether your commute to work is across town, across country or across the hall.  Some are making life and death decisions daily and others are teaching little ones to tie their shoes and count to ten.  God has gifted each of us in unique ways and has blessed us with opportunities to serve others, either in our home or outside our home.

Since we all work at something, we should also all have time to relax and enjoy ourselves.  I think our stamping classes are an excellent way to spend an evening with friends and enjoy some “me” time.  We have fun and yet are productive at the same time.  Its a win win situation.  I hope you will join us for one of our upcoming events.  You can check out our calendar here.
