I have seen a few Card In A Box ideas lately and wanted to try it out. My dear dad celebrated his birthday in February. I would love to have been in Indiana to celebrate with him. Since that wasn’t an option, I sent a little celebration to him…my Birthday Card In A Box!
One of the best parts of this little Card In A Box is that it folds up flat so I was able to mail it in a regular card envelope to my dad.
This was the perfect item to send to my dad on his special day. How could opening that cute little Card In A Box not brighten your day?! There are so many options for “filling” this little box – flowers, snowflakes, hearts, butterflies, etc, etc, etc. What fun! There is even a panel on the back of the card that I used to write a note to my dad and sign my little artwork 😉
This project did take me an entire morning to complete, so you don’t want to wait until the last minute with this one. But you do want to give it a try! The assembly is not difficult, it just takes a while to add all the little box fillers and place them where you want. I hope you will make a Card In A Box for someone special to you!
