I made some cards from scraps that were on my desk from other random projects.  I didn’t want to throw away these “extras” but they tend to just sit on my work space if I am not intentional about using them up.  So, as I was cleaning the other day, I decided to give these paper pieces a new home.  I am pretty excited about they way they turned out….and with the space that I cleared off of my work area!

I created this Watermelon Wonder background piece for a different project a while back.  It turned out good, but not for the card I was making at the time, so I saved it, and I am so pleased that I did!  This combination of gray and black paired with watermelon wonder is wonderful.  Can’t wait to send this card to someone special!

I repurposed this beautiful butterfly that was on a different project.  It is certainly the “star” of this card, so I kept the rest of it very simple.  Love it!

I cannot remember what I created this little stamped squares for originally.  They have been sitting on my work space for a while and I contemplated pitching them.  Instead, I put together this masculine birthday card…we can never have too many of those!

I had been playing with the pineapple background stamp last month and embossed one in gold.  It was pretty, but I hadn’t done anything with it and I wanted to turn it into something completely different.  I used the Festive Flower Builder Punch and created some petals for a flower.  Added a little rhinestone bling and this stunning card came to life!

These random project pieces created beautiful cards.  I have less clutter.  I feel productive.  AND I have more cards to share with others.  It was also a nice break from the Christmas cards I am making each day in July.  If you want to see those, check out our facebook page here!  While you are there, be sure to like our page so you don’t miss the other Christmas cards we make this month!
