Sometimes our creativity needs a little boost.  There are plenty of resources available when this happens.  A fun way to get your creative juices flowing is to participate in an online challenge.   There are many sites that post weekly challenges for card making and scrapbooking.  Today’s card was created for  a Color Challenge posted here using Island Indigo, Smoky Slate and Chocolate Chip.  Although I really like this color combo, they aren’t colors I would have put together on my own.  It’s fun to work with a palette that takes you out of your comfort zone.  Here is the card I created for this Color Challenge.

Color Challenge (CCMC360)

I have to admit, the first card I made  with this color combo was not very pretty.  But I got some pointers from my Graphic Designer son on using these colors together and so I tried again.  I am much happier with the second attempt. 🙂  And with that gorgeous Swallowtail stamp how can you go wrong?!  Love it.   I would like to challenge you to create a project using these three colors also.  Please share with me what you come up with!
