Fiesta Birthday was THE set I first fell in love with when I looked through the Stampin’ Up! catalog. For one thing, birthday sets are always needed. For another, I absolutely adore llamas. I have been asking my husband to buy one for about 5 years now. We haven’t added a llama to our animal collection (YET), but I didn’t hesitate to add the Fiesta Birthday llama to my stamp collection.
The other day I shared a card with a pink llama on it. You can see that little cutie here. But the llama isn’t the only “star” in this stamp set, and the card I want to share with you today is created using the other “star.”
This little guy just makes me smile. Its easy to cut the cactus image using the coordinating framelits dies. His little hat was made using the coordinating framelits also (and someone’s creative imagination). If you don’t have googly eyes in your craft stash, you need to go get some. The ones I used are 4mm eyes. I simply used a Black Stampin’ Write marker to draw his smile.
I hope you will consider adding this stamp set and framelits to your own stamp library. When you do, be sure to share some of your creations here so we can be inspired by your creativity.
