I actually saw pink llamas while we were on vacation last week.  Of course they weren’t REAL ones, but they were oh so cute.  We were at Cedar Point Amusement Park up in Ohio and they had these stuffed pink llamas as a prize at one of the games.  You know, pay some money,  throw balls at some blocks (that you have to knock completely off the table) and win a prize.  My dear hubby did NOT want to play the game to win me a llama.  He looked in every little shop we passed hoping that they sold the llamas somewhere, but he had no luck.  At the end of the night he did invest $5 into my pink llama, but those blocks were NOT coming off that table…sigh.  I left without my llama.

Back in my craft room this week I decided to create my own pink llama…and I LOVE it!

This little llama is actually sponged in Flirty Flamingo ink.  I used my Fiesta Time Framelits & the Big Shot to cut the llama image from a piece of cardstock, and then used the negative image as a stencil to sponge my llama onto the card front.  Then I used the Birthday Fiesta stamp set to stamp the llama details over my sponged image.  This was super easy to line up, because the stamps are photopolymer and you can see exactly where you need to stamp it.  The lighter pink frame around the llama is also simply sponged ink.  It is hard to tell in the picture, but the card base is Basic Black.

Maybe you aren’t a llama fan like me, but you have to admit this little guy is pretty cute.  How could you keep from smiling if he showed up in your mailbox?!

This is the stamp set and framelits that were used to create this card.  If you’d like to make some llamas of your own, contact me today and we will get you started!
