Love Is KindYears ago, when I first began my blog, I did something each February called “A Blessing A Day.”  The point was to intentionally share some love each day in February and I tried to log it all on my site. Those beginning blog posts were fun to look back on, but honestly, I cringed at the cards.  Paper crafting has come a long way in 10 years! I haven’t done the Blessing A Day in several years, but this year I am bringing it back.

Love Is Kind

The 2020 version is titled ‘Love Is Kind.”  I will look for opportunities each day to share a Random Act of Kindness.  It might be that I send a card, or make someone’s favorite meal or pay for the order behind me in line.  I will try to focus on others and meet needs around me.  I will try to be kind.

Will you consider joining me in this challenge?  Don’t think you have to make something for someone every day (though that would be AWESOME!)  Your act of kindness might just be a phone call to a friend or an extra 10 minutes on your knees praying for the needs of others.  Whatever you choose, the point is to intentionally show love to others each day.

If you need some additional ideas, check out this post.  It was written specifically for Valentine’s Day, but will certainly apply to the this challenge too.

Do you like this idea?  Want to join me?  Please leave a comment and let me know that you are in.  I will share my month here and I would love to hear about your’s too!  Let’s cover ALL of February in love, not just on the 14th.

“Love is patient and kind.  Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude.  It does not demand its own way.  It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged.  It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out.  Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.”                                                                                                          1 Corinthians 13: 4-7
