Happy Mom and Pop Business Owners Day! Did you even know that was today?! It might not seem like much of a holiday to some, but for those of us that own a small business it is worth celebrating. How blessed we are to live in a country where we can pursue any career or interest that we want. Some mornings I get up and drive 30 minutes to work for someone else. But on other mornings I simply walk down the hall to my studio and spend the day doing things that I love and am passionate about. I am grateful for both of my jobs and thankful for the opportunity to divide my week or my days up any way that I choose.
Supporting small businesses is something we should all be doing. Whether it is your local stamping business owner or the cup cake shop down the street, small businesses are an important part of our communities. So take some time to celebrate this day. Go buy that cupcake!
