Rock, Paper, Scissors. Its a game most of us have played. You don’t need skill, its really just luck. Kids use it to decide all sorts of things, like who gets to choose what to watch on TV or who has to take out the trash. We are a family that loves games. Card games, board games, video games, trivia games. We play them all. We’re also pretty competitive. None of us like to lose!
When I was contemplating a name for my business I wanted something more than just Random Stamper blah blah blah. I wanted it to be clever AND meaningful. I don’t really know how I came upon the Rock Paper Scissors idea, but I LOVED it. It was exactly what I was looking for.
Putting God first in every part of my life has always been my goal. It seemed so fitting that this name put Him first too. He is the Rock, the solid foundation, of my life. Paper and scissors are pretty self explanatory considering my art is paper crafting. So the name includes all the important aspects of my work and it is clever. Perfect.
Since the Lord has blessed me with this opportunity to serve Him and others while creating art, I want to make sure that I include Him in my artwork. I’ll be adding special projects each month that embody everything that The Rock Paper Scissors Studio stands for. Be watching for these posts that will highlight one of these three areas.
