Fall is in full swing.  The leaves are starting to change. We’ve had some cooler weather.  Costumes are in all the stores.  Yep, we can actually say “Happy Fall!”  I know I say this every year, but I love fall!  I like wearing hoodies and hosting bon fires where we cook hot dogs and s’mores over the fire.  I love football at the high school on Friday nights and in my family room on Sunday afternoons.  I love to buy candy corn and mix it with peanuts so it tastes like a Payday candy bar.  Caramel apples, fall scented candles, mums and pumpkins on the front porch– I love it all!

The card I have to share with you today is truly a celebration of this time of year.  The theme, the colors, even the textures used say…

“Happy Fall!”

Happy Fall!

Don’t you just love those cute little acorns?!  They are easy to create with the Acorny Thank You stamp set and the Acorn Builder Punch.  The sentiment comes from the Lighthearted Leaves stamp set and is perfect paired with those acorns.

I know we all focus on Christmas cards this time of year, but I would like to challenge you to stop and enjoy fall for a while.  Surely you know some people who need a little encouragement and a friendly “Happy Fall!” card.  There are also people to whom we need to express gratitude, and this is the perfect “excuse” to do that.  If you’re like me, you might be creating these fall cards while listening to Christmas music.  And that’s okay.  Let’s just not get so wrapped up in Christmas preparations that we overlook this beautiful time of year that leads up to it.

One last reminder that TODAY is the LAST DAY to take advantage of the 15% off stamps sale through Stampin’ Up.  As always, you can order online anytime HERE by clicking the ‘Shop Now’ tab.  Or contact me today and I can get the order placed for you.

Happy Fall!                                                                                                                                                         JoAnn
