I thought I would share more Bible Journaling with you today. I just love this aspect of Bible study and worship. Bringing my artistic side into the equation is so much fun! The page I am sharing today was sketched out in my practice journal months before I ever put it on the actual Bible page.
It is inspired, of course, by the song from Third Day titled “Soul on Fire.” A while back I went through a spell where I listened to this song all the time. That’s when I first designed the page. As you can see, it just made it into the book of Jeremiah last week. Here’s how the NLT words this verse…
“But if I say I’ll never mention the LORD or speak in his name, his word burns in my heart like a fire. It’s like a fire in my bones! I am worn out trying to hold it in! I can’t do it!” Jeremiah 20:9
Don’t you want a soul on fire too? I want my life to burn so brightly for Christ that there is NO WAY others will miss it when they look at me. I want that fire to rage wildly so that it cannot be contained!
Sharing my Bible Journaling is just one way that I can burn for him. Maybe my pages will ignite a fire for the Lord in someone else too. I will keep sharing this journey with you.
