Don’t you just love birthday celebrations?!  What fun to celebrate the life of our friends and loved ones!  A birthday blessing can come in many forms.  Today I am sharing a card for a friend celebrating her birthday…

birthday blessing

This cute card uses the Mixed Bunch stamp set and coordinating Blossom Punch for the large flower image.  Part of the beauty of the card, though, is in the extra items used to add so many small details, the stems from the Bird Punch, the Designer Series Paper, the ribbon, the printed brad, etc.

One of my goals for this year is to be more generous with the cards that I have.   This project was in my card box ready to be a birthday blessing to someone.  Since it was an odd sized card, I took the opportunity to use my Envelope Punch Board to make a custom envelope for it.   Blessing others this month doesn’t mean we have to make something every day, though it could mean that if you wanted.  But being a blessing to others can simply mean sharing what you have or even just sharing some of your time with them.

Today I am going to challenge you to intentionally share with others.  Share your time, your creativity, your lunch…maybe even your chocolate (if you’re feeling particularly generous.)  For extra credit you can even share a comment with me so I will know you’re taking on this challenge!  Hope your day is blessed!
