It rained again today. Ugh. Our pasture and our chicken coop are so messy these days! Plus, it was Day One of no school due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We have 4 teenage boys in our home and it was too yucky to get outside and burn some energy. Lord help us! 🙂 I needed something to brighten my day, so I naturally reached for the Fable Friends stamp set. The images are so cute that any of them will bring a smile to my face. Isn’t that the sweetest? I colored it with Stampin’ Blends alcohol markers. The sentiment and the raindrops are from the Under My Umbrella stamp set in the current mini catalog. They were just what I needed for the card I wanted to create. Don’t you love it when a project turns out EXACTLY like you had pictured it?! I am sending this card to my momma. She is 80 years old and lives 6 hours from me. I want her to know that I am thinking about her during this crazy stuff we are dealing with.
This is a great time to diminish your card stash and bring a smile to people who might need it. Since most of us are staying close to home, we’ll be checking those mail boxes for anything positive we can find. We were made for this! This is what our card making skills are all about! Get busy sending cards to your elderly family members, your co-workers, your church friends, your kid’s teachers, etc. EVERYBODY needs a little love and encouragement these days.
