I am pleased as punch about this new paper from Stampin’ Up!  I have to say though, it took me more time than I care to admit to figure out why they named it “Pleased As Punch. “ (Actually I am really embarrassed about how long it took.)  For those who don’t know the details of this paper, it coordinates with 4 different paper punches from the current Mini catalog and from Sale-A-Bration.  I already had the 4 punches and so the paper was an obvious choice to purchase.  And it does NOT disappoint!

Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper Pack

I love these fun festive colors, and even if I didn’t have ALL of those punches, I know I would still find a great way to use this paper.  In fact, we’re using this paper in a class next week for a project that doesn’t use any of those punches (and it is a SUPER cute card!)

So, are you ready to see my cards?  I made each of these using the coordinating punches.  That made creating them so easy!

Pleased As Punch Cards

Small Bloom Punch Card

Pleased As Punch

I love how colorful this card is!  I used the coordinating Small Blooms Punch and the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set for this card.  These items are earned FREE during Sale-A-Bration.  Yay for FREE items!  I used Stampin’ Blends to color the rhinestones so they would coordinate with each flower.   You can’t even tell that they aren’t a perfect match, but I didn’t have a Stampin’ Blend to match each color, so I used the closest color I had.  I could have used the rhinestones without coloring them, but I think that small extra step really gives the card a polished look.

Tulip Builder Punch Card

This card looks so delicate and pretty to me.  Maybe it is that soft Purple Posy base?  I don’t know, but I love the look.  Such a sweet card.  I punched the tulip and the leaves from the Pleased As Punch paper.  Cool!  The sentiment is from the Timeless Tulips stamp set that coordinates with the punch.

Umbrella Builder Punch Card

Pleased As Punch

Don’t you just love pink rain boots?  I shared this card on our Facebook page the other day.  The rain boots were stamped using the Under My Umbrella stamp set.  I fussy cut them.  I also used that stamp set to stamp the umbrella handle and the sentiment.  But I punched that beautiful floral umbrella from the Pleased As Punch paper.  There are several color options for umbrellas.   Some have flowers some have polka dots.   They are all adorable!  Love this card.

Heart Punch Pack Card

Pleased As Punch

This last card uses the heart punch pack.  I used this, and the Heartfelt stamp set, to create a ton of Valentine’s Day cards.  But these hearts are perfect to express love to others ANY time of year.

The hearts are in a rainbow of colors.  I chose blue because I wanted it to look very different from the Valentine’s hearts I had created.  I used the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set again, along with the coordinating Small Blooms Punch that I used on the first card.  (Remember, you can get those FREE during Sale-A-Bration).  The heart already had this flower print on it, so I carried that over to my card.  Isn’t this the cutest little card?  I again used Stampin’ Blends to color rhinestones for the flower centers because I loved it so much on the first card.  The itty bitty sentiment for this card uses the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set in the annual catalog.

The Pleased As Punch Designer Series Paper is available through March 31 or while supplies last.  If you already have these punches, then you should definitely add this paper to your next order.  Take advantage of this coordinating paper that will allow you to make super cute cards super quick!  You’ll be “pleased as punch” just like me.
