I am so excited about our One Time Valentine Day Special! Since this holiday is all about LOVE, I wanted to share a special with you that involves something I love so very much.
As a young wife and mother I gave up my career as a Physical Therapist and was promoted to full time mom. During this season a friend of mine invited me to a Beth Moore Bible study. Now I had been involved in church all my life, saved as a young child and I was married to a pastor, but I had never experienced the Bible like I did during that study of David. I fell so completely in love with God’s word and I have never gotten over it. Through the years this love affair with God’s word has taken on many different forms. Not only Bible study, but Scripture memorization, and Scripture art became my passions.
Fast forward to 2015 when I first became aware of Bible journaling from an art perspective. I was so completely taken by this idea from the beginning. It was like a culmination of things that I already loved so much. My sister and I traveled to St. Louis to attend a conference put on by Shanna Noel from Illustrated Faith and it was there that I applied paint to my Bible for the very first time. I learned so much at that conference and since. I am excited to share what I have learned with you. Please join me for an evening of fun and fellowship as we explore Bible Journaling together. This is definitely the class for you if you are interested in Bible Journaling but have no idea how to get started! But it is also for you if you are already illustrating your faith and want to explore new things and share what you know with others. Maybe you aren’t a fan and you don’t want to paint in your Bible. Believe it or not, this class is also for you. There are so many options in illustrating your faith and I want to explore those with you too.
So, for our Valentine Day Special I am offering this gathering for FREE for only 24 hours. You can come, learn, create, explore. I will have plenty of supplies for everyone to play with. Don’t worry if you do not have a Journal Bible, I will help you figure out which one will be best for you. After today, I am going to charge a small supply fee for this class, but for TODAY it is free. All you have to do is respond TODAY to let me know you want to attend. Don’t forget, because after 24 hours it will cost you! 🙂

Our Bible Journal Gathering will be on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 6 p.m. at Southside Community Church in the conference center. Please pass this information on to anyone who might be interested. I will need everyone to RSVP so I will have all the supplies we need. And, again, tomorrow you will have to pay a small supply fee to attend so RSVP today! I can’t wait to share this journey with you!
