Saying goodbye to our retiring product is a bittersweet time every year. Some of my stamp sets feel like old friends and I don’t want to let them go just yet. We also have to say goodbye to 5 In Colors every year and some of them are my favorite colors. (Still mourning the loss of Blackberry Bliss last year!) But the excitement of the new products that are arriving soon and the new “friends” that I will make, cheers me up and gives me something to look forward to.
The Traveler stamp set is one of my “old friends.” We have created cards for almost every occasion with this set, including Christmas. It might not seem versatile to you at first glance, but once you start playing with it, you realize the possibilities. You can see, from the picture of my Traveler stamps, that it was well loved.
Today I decided to create yet another card with this set. I needed a masculine birthday card and I wanted to do a reflection technique. I love how it turned out and that just makes it harder to say goodbye to this retiring stamp set.
