I love this Tiny Box.  When I first saw this package I knew I wanted to recreate it.  It all started with my latest Mary Kay order.   This is one of the packages I received.  I put a Hershey kiss with it so you can see how small it is.

I took the little box apart and created a template that looked like this.

Then I copied my template on the back of some of this wonderful scrapbook paper from the Sale-A-Bration brochure.Tiny Box

I used Stampin’ Up’s new Water Color Pencils to color the flowers, leaves and bugs on my paper and assembled the tiny box.  I even made a tiny bee to embellish the lid.

Can you believe I actually fit 4 Hershey Kisses inside this box?  It was a tight fit, but it worked.  I’m going to use it as a “small” token of appreciation for someone who did something nice for us.

I’ve said it before and I will say it again, inspiration is everywhere!  You can be inspired by the size of a package, like I was with this tiny box, or by the color scheme, the theme, or even just a specific design element that is used.  Be sure that Pinterest isn’t your only source of inspiration for your projects.  Look around your kitchen or even in your make up case.  Take a walk in your yard or at a local park, because God’s creativity in nature is limitless and will give us lots of ideas to work with.  I am so glad the Lord shares his creativity with us so we can make pretty things to share with others!

We share lots of inspiring ideas like this each month in our newsletter.  If you haven’t already signed up for our mailing list, fill out the form at the top of this page so you won’t miss any of the creativity that we share!
